about Alimente Curate
In addition, optionally and for a fee, you can scan, with the help of the phone's camera, the ingredients on the label of a food product with the Clean Food application and you will find out which additives it contains and the information about them, regardless of whether they appear marked with the E code or with another name (example: E124, dangerous food additive with a coloring role, can be found on food labels and under the names: Ponceau 4R, Cosenila Red A, Red C17, FD-C red no 4 or Coccine now).
The additives are presented in 3 colors to quickly distinguish between the dangerous and the harmless ones:
- The green color represents a harmless E (food additive);
- The red color represents a dangerous food additive;
- The yellow color represents a suspect E, i.e. an additive about which there is not enough information regarding the effects on the human body or which could not be included in the other categories, above, because of the risks it presents.
