With more than 1,2 Million members, the DAV is the largest mountain sports organisation in the World and one of the major environment protection organisations in Germany. Not only does the DAV Panorama member magazine reflect current alpine events but also the hard work of the 356 sections of the Deutscher Alpenverein.

The DAV advocates the protection and sustainable development of alpine habitats. The ecologically sound, environmental and climate-friendly practice of mountain sport is deep-seated in the DAV’s mission statement.

With a widespread circulation of over 700.000 print copies per issue, DAV Panorama is Europe’s largest alpine and outdoor magazine.
