Currently, through this application, you can generate and consult your digital permissions as well as primary data. The digital files generated by miDGT are valid for driving and circulation in Spain, according to the regulations approved by the DGT. However, we recommend that you continue to carry your physical documents with you for the time being, until the system becomes widespread, or in the event that your cell phone breaks down or you don't have coverage, for added security. Remember to carry it when you go abroad as well. Soon we will be adding new features such as notification and payment of fines, purchasing fees, requesting appointments at our office, or major procedures related to your license and vehicle.

mi DGT permissions:

- Camera: The application requests access to the device's camera to read the authentication code for digital or physical files in order to display them on the device.

- Storage: The application requires access to the device's storage to save files that can be downloaded from it, such as CSV validation files, vehicle reports, or proof of fine payment.

- Location: the application requests access to the location of the device in order to find the nearest office to request an appointment or, when these features are available, you can access the nearest traffic accident to your location.

- Calendar: the app asks for access to your calendar to save previous appointments you've gotten through the app or reminders you'd like to create in the future, as these features are already available.

- In addition, the application requires a data connection to function properly. Keep in mind, however, that in any case, this information (e.g. location information) can only be managed by the application within the device and will not be sent to the General Directorate of Transportation.
