USB Camera

USB Camera allows your Android device to connect to a USB webcam or video capture card via USB-OTG. With the USB camera app you can record video or capture snapshots, turn your phone into a wireless IP camera for security surveillance with built-in RTSP and HTTP servers, as well as support for two-way audio that you can view with a browser and, of course, the "IP Camera" app.USB Camera adds a timestamp to video frames as you record them, GPS, speed, and other information while recording video, and allows you to capture snapshots and record video using a headset or Bluetooth headset. It also supports snapshot buttons for webcams.

Which devices are supported by USB Camera:

The following devices are supported
1) UVC webcam with the microphone or external USB audio input (supports H.264, H.265, HEVC, MJPG, YUY2, P010, NV12, etc.).
2) UVC video grabber with audio input or external USB audio input (up to 4K via HDMI, supports H.264, H.265, HEVC, MJPG, YUY2, P010, NV12, etc., supports progressive and interlaced video)
3) EasyCap includes audio with UTV007 / HTV600 / HTV800 chipsets (VID_1B71 & PID_3002).
4) EasyCap includes audio for STK1160 + SAA7113/GM7113 + AC97 chipset (audio 48kHz stereo version VID_05E1 & PID_0408)
5) EasyCap includes STK1160 + SAA7113/GM7113 audio (audio 8kHz mono version VID_05E1 & PID_0408)

Precautions during the use of USB Camera:

If the system cannot detect your device, click the USB icon on the toolbar to open the Device dialog box to open the device.
Please use a high-quality OTG cable and make sure it is powered. Some devices may require a bridged HUB to boost the USB signal to work properly, such as Elgato Cam link, ezcap Video Grabber.
Video recording/streaming with HEVC requires Android 5.0 or later and the device must support the HEVC codec.
Using AV1 video streaming requires Android 10 or later, and the device must support the AV1 codec.

USB Webcam/Camcorder Usage Matters:

"USB Camera" mixes and outputs USB audio with the built-in microphone.
The "USB Camera" pushes video and audio to RTMP/SRT live media servers for webcasting. It supports the rtmps security protocol and the SRT protocol and can also push media to multiple media servers at the same time. It also supports HEVC/AV1 over RTMP and is currently available for YouTube Live."USB Camera" supports Side-by-Side (SBS) view for use with FPV goggles
"The USB camcorder supports loop recording. Automatic segmentation can be set when recording and old video archives can be deleted automatically when storage space is insufficient." The "USB Camera" can be used as a "Car Camera".
The USB camera can seamlessly switch between foreground and background. Simply press "Enter Background" from the menu. The switching will not interrupt the recording!
It supports automatic video recording based on motion detection, and the recorded video can be automatically uploaded to an FTP server and notified to you via email!
Important! On Android 9 and above, camera permissions are required to fully access USB video devices. Don't worry, this app doesn't include any function/code to access the built-in camera as it's not necessary.
This is a user-space driver and therefore can only be used for applications. Android does not allow kernel drivers to be installed and therefore cannot be used for third-party applications.
